St. Maarten
After hurricane Irma hit Sint Maarten in September 2017, the UNDP and EY approached us with the question what could be an actionable program to support the people and businesses on Sint Maarten. We designed a program for them and a Build Back Better week was organized by us in March 2018. This week included a Hackathon and a Trade Mission to connect local organizations on Sint Maarten with organizations from abroad. Besides that, different masterclasses and workshops were given. Over 50 companies and organizations from the region, the Netherlands and the US participated in this week and several contracts were closed to help Sint Maarten to ‘Build Back Better’.
360° of Innovation was as program- and projectmanager responsible for the whole setup, including the content and design of the week, stakeholder involvement, setup of the different programs, all logistics around it, the CSR-part of this event and all the follow ups afterwards to create real and longlassing impact.
