Due to the positive responses of all participants of the Build Back Better week, We were approached by the Sint Maarten Hospitality and Trade Association (SHTA) to co-organize SMILE (Sint Maarten Innovation Linkup Event) as the successor of the Build Back Better Week. SMILE brings businesses, NGO’s, policy advisors and students together around the themes of Innovation and Resiliency in order to stimulate cross-pollination, co-creation, collaboration and doing business.
SMILE has been organized two times already and took both times place at the University of Sint Maarten. Over 700 participants and 400 companies and ngo’s participated. Due to COVID, we organized a digital event and end of March 2022 it is expected to have another ‘real life SMILE-event’ again on Sint Maarten.
