The Road to GES Caribbean Event - Curacao
In March 2019 360° of Innovation organized together with Innovate Today from the Netherlands the Global Entrepreneurship Summit on Curacao. An event organized by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, supported by the Dutch, U.S. and Curacao government. The aim of the event was to gather governments, entrepreneurs and powerful partners to turn challenges into business opportunities worldwide.
The Road to GES Caribbean focused on global opportunities in the sectors water & energy, wellbeing & health and sustainable tourism as well as Inclusive Finance and the Future of Work. Over 400 people in the different sectors came together to discuss these opportunities via different approaches; keynote speeches, a hackathon, workshops, deep dive sessions and networking opportunities.
The Road to GES Caribbean lead to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at the beginning of June 2019 in The Hague. 360° got the opportunity to also organize at that event a sustainable island session. Due to COVID, no follow up was given as of yet to this program, but the government of Curacao and the US embassy want to pick this up again in Q2 of this year.
